Peter Vavrik Ieva Mainardi Lithuanian national, Ieva Mainardi has been working within the EU institutions for over 20 years. She has a BA in English philology (Vilnius University), MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from Institute of International Relations and Political Science (TSPMI, VU) and MA in EU and International Law (VU). Her EU career started at the European Commission Delegation in Lithuania where she was following-up inter alia EU pre-accession programs. She later moved to the European Commission in Luxembourg and subsequently to the Court of Justice of the European Union where she worked as a Lawyer-Linguist. Since 2012 she has been managing teams of language professionals at the European Parliament also being involved in the inter-institutional cooperation of the EU translation services, IT project follow-up, Advisory Committee on Harassment and its prevention at the workplace and the Parliamentary Project Portfolio on Skill Sharing. As the EU Fellow, she is carrying out a research on Change Management with focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the service of public administrations.
