Maria Lorca-Susino, Ph.D. (MA in Economics and MBA in Finance) has been teaching since 2006 economics and political economy for the Departments of Economic and International Studies at the University of Miami. Maria also works as the Associate Editor at the European Union Center of Excellence at the University of Miami wherein she has been publishing her research since January 2006. She recently published a book titled “The euro in the 21st century: Economic crisis and financial uproar” (Ashgate Pub.) Her research looks at the issues of the euro, economic integration, and economics and are available at www.marialorcasusino.com.
